SR Asia typically implements a variety of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) projects aimed at sustainable development, community welfare, and social impact. Some of the common types of CSR projects SR Asia focuses on include:

  1. Skill Development and Education: Projects aimed at enhancing employability through vocational training and technical skills development. For example, offering free IT skill programs in partnership with educational institutions and industries to final-year students.
  2. Health and Nutrition: Initiatives focused on improving healthcare services, reducing malnutrition, and enhancing the nutritional standards of vulnerable groups. The Khushi Project in Rajasthan is an example, where health and nutrition interventions are integrated into the Government’s ICDS scheme.
  3. Water and Sanitation: Projects to improve access to clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene practices in underprivileged communities. These initiatives are often linked with promoting environmental sustainability.
  4. Women Empowerment: Programs designed to empower women through skill development, entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, and leadership programs.
  5. Community Development: Initiatives that promote community asset creation, such as building schools, community centers, or water conservation structures, often focusing on long-term sustainability.
  6. Renewable Energy and Environment: Projects that support renewable energy, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability, such as solar PV plants or projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  7. Impact Assessment and Reporting: Providing consultancy on impact assessments of CSR projects, Social Return on Investment (SROI), and aligning with international standards such as GRI, SASB, and others, often for large corporations.

“Land surveys are conducted for SIA, R&R and all other purposes using modern technology by experts”

Survey & Impact studies

SR Asia might carry out Land Survey that could include:

  1. Cadastral Surveys: These are detailed surveys that help in defining land ownership and property boundaries. They are often conducted for land registration and to resolve boundary disputes.
  2. Topographical Surveys: This type of survey records the physical features of the land, including elevation, contours, rivers, roads, and buildings. It is useful for infrastructure planning and development projects.
  3. Settlement Surveys: Involves the demarcation and mapping of land for settlement purposes, often aimed at redistributing land or formalizing land ownership for inhabitants, especially in rural or tribal areas.
  4. Geospatial Surveys (using GIS and GPS): These modern techniques involve the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to map and analyze land. It’s useful for large-scale projects like town planning, forest management, and resource allocation.
  5. Hydrographic Surveys: These surveys focus on mapping bodies of water and related features, which can be important for managing water resources, flood planning, and irrigation projects.
  6. Forest and Environmental Surveys: Given Mizoram’s forest cover, surveys might include mapping forest boundaries, environmental impact assessments, and conservation planning to balance development with ecological preservation.
  7. Land Use Surveys: These surveys assess how land is being used and recommend zoning for agricultural, residential, commercial, or industrial purposes. This can help in regional planning and resource management.

These types of surveys assist in land management, planning, and development efforts by providing accurate data that is crucial for policymaking and effective land administration.
